Adrian Augustus was born and raised in the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Although his first event dates back to 2011, it was not until 2013 that Twice, (DJ Baby Urkul of Did I Do That Entertainment at the time), started taking his passion for music seriously. After DJing an Istrouma High Prom, he hit the streets of BR hard doing house parties and school events all across the city. In less than a year, he was in some of the hottest clubs in the city. Venues such as 600 Main and Allure would be the first nightclubs to recognize his talents. In 2015, he transferred to THEE Southern University A&M College. After a party in the circle, Urkul was spinning everything on campus from Pretty Wednesday to the Pageants.
It was not until a month before the Pandemic that he adopted the name DJ A Twice, of Twice as Nice Entertainment. Twice wanted something original, and has built his brand as such. Twice founded Drunk Karaoke in March of 2021. Drunk Karaoke recently completed a 30 venue tour around the city of Baton Rouge in May 2022, making it the first of its kind! A Twice can be heard at some of your favorite nightclubs, or all across the city at private events.
